Troubleshooting:
DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the motor control module (MCM) detects that the ambient air
temperature is greater than 20°C (36°F) degrees from the expected temperature after the
engine has been turned off for 8 hours.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
Ambient air temperature.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Key on.
2. Engine off.
3. Battery voltage greater than 11 volts.
4. Engine rpm at zero.
5. Ambient temperature less than 40°C (104°F)
6. Engine off for no less than 8 hours.
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCEY:
Once per cool down cycle.

VERIFICATION:
Road test the vehicle for 30 minutes until the coolant reaches operating temperature. Then

2. Faulty intake ambient temperature sensor.
