This fault sets when the DEF Tank Temperature Sensor drifts greater than +40°C / -30°C
(+104°F / -22°F).
MONITORED PARAMETER:
DEF Tank Temperature Sensor vs. Ambient Temperature Sensor
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. Engine OFF eight hours, then ON for two minutes
2. Ambient Temperature greater than 0°C (32°F)
2. No DEF refill since last Engine OFF
3. DEF Tank or DEF Line Heating ON less than 1 minute
