Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 100
FMI: 18
Description: Engine Oil System below Warning Pressure
Troubleshooting:
The Engine Warning Protection System (EWPS) warns the operator when engine conditions
could become damaging. The Electronic Control Module can be programmed to shut off the
engine these conditions occur.
Probable causes:
1) Lubrication system suction side leak (pickup tube)
2) Engine oil system mechanical failure

PID: N/A
SPN: 102
FMI: 2
Description: IMP signal erratic, intermittent, or incorrect
Troubleshooting:
The Intake Manifold Pressure (IMP) sensor measures charge air pressure entering the air
intake throttle duct. The Electronic Control Module (ECM) uses readings from the IMP sensor
for Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and turbo wastegate control.
Probable causes:
1) Biased IMP circuit or sensor

FMI: 3
Description: IMP signal Out of Range HIGH
Troubleshooting:
The Intake Manifold Pressure (IMP) sensor measures charge air pressure entering the air
intake throttle duct. The Electronic Control Module (ECM) uses readings from the IMP sensor
for Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and turbo wastegate control.
Probable causes:
1) IMP signal circuit OPEN or short to PWR
2) SIG GND circuit OPEN
3) Failed IMP sensor

Description: IMP signal Out of Range LOW
Troubleshooting:
The Intake Manifold Pressure (IMP) sensor measures charge air pressure entering the air
intake throttle duct. The Electronic Control Module (ECM) uses readings from the IMP sensor
for Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and turbo wastegate control.
Probable causes:
1) IMP signal circuit OPEN or short to GND
2) VREF-2 circuit OPEN
3) Failed IMP sensor
