Troubleshooting:
The Engine Warning Protection System (EWPS) warns the operator when engine conditions
could become damaging. The Electronic Control Module can be programmed to shut off the
engine these conditions occur.
Probable causes:
1) Incorrect value in Programmable Parameter (PP) 77012
2) Failed Thermostat
3) Low Temperature Radiator (LTR) Plugged
4) Blockage between Charge Air Cooler (CAC) and Radiator
5) Degraded Coolant
6) Failed Water pump
7) Failed Coolant Control Valve (CCV)
