Troubleshooting:
The Turbocharger 2 Compressor Inlet Sensor (TC2CIS) monitors boost pressure forthe lowpressure
turbo and also measures the temperature of the charge-air entering the high –
pressure turbo. The readings from this sensor are used to calculate fuel delivery and control
the wastegate.
Probable causes:
1) Disconnected connector
2) Signal open
3) Signal short to battery
4) Signal return open
5) Open circuit TC2CIT sensor

1) Low or aerated coolant
2) Restricted coolant flow to Interstage Cooler (ISC)
3) Fouled ISC charge air path
4) Excessive boost pressure
5) High ambient temperatures at air cleaner inlet
6) Poor coolant circulation
7) Coolant bypass circuit stuck or sticking thermostat
8) Biased Intake Manifold Temperature (IMT) sensor
9) Biased Air Inlet Temperature (AIT) sensor
10) Biased Charge Air Cooler Outlet Temperature (CACOT) sensor
11) Biased Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
12) Biased Barometric Pressure (BARO) sensor
13) Biased Intake Manifold Pressure (IMP) sensor

diverts exhaust gases away from the turbine wheel. Diversion of exhaust gases from the turbo
regulates the turbine speed.
Probable causes:
1) TC2WG control shorted to B+
