Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 1328
FMI: 31
Description: Engine Misfire Cylinder 6
Troubleshooting:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) determines when fuel needs to be supplied to injectors
and supplies voltage to the injectors. The voltage causes a needle inside the injector to lift
which uncovers the spray holes, directing fuel into the cylinder.
Probable causes:
1) Oil growth
2) Aerated oil
3) EGR amount
4) Boost leaks
5) MAF drift
6) MAF auto-calibration
7) EGR distribution
8) Injector quantity and timing issues
9) ICP biased sensor
10) IMT sensor
11) Flying short circuits
12) Injector electrical checks
13) Cam lobe issues
14) Compression brake activating (if installed) during powered engine operation
15) Sticking EGR valve
16) ICP tracking issues
17) Aerated fuel
18) High-pressure oil system repairs (misfire after repairs)

Description: Altitude reference adder fault
Troubleshooting:
Code is set during ECM self test
Probable Causes:
1) Barometric Absolute Pressure (BARO), Exhaust Back Pressure (EBP), and Intake Manifold
Pressure (IMP) do not agree
2) Biased, damaged, or failed BARO (ECM), EBP, or IMP sensor
3) Biased, failed, or damaged actuator PWR circuit

Description: ECT1 below expected: Check Thermostat
Troubleshooting:
The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) measures engine coolant temperature
Probable causes:
1) Thermostat stuck open
2) Thermostat sticking
3) Auxiliary cab heaters
4) Cooling fan stuck on
