Troubleshooting:
DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the difference between the actual EGR flow and the commanded
EGR flow is higher than a calibrated threshold.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
EGR mass flow.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Desired EGR mass flow greater than .08, EGR in closed-loop control, CAC outlet temperature
greater than 0°C (32°F), engine speed 1080 to 2500 rpm,
engine torque 200 to 2500 N·m (148 to 1844 lb·ft), coolant temperature greater than 65°C
(149°F), ambient temperature greater than -8°C (18°F) ambient, barometric pressure greater
than 755 mbar (11 psi).
MONITOR SEQUENCE:

POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Damaged EGR Delta Pressure sensor electrical connector.
2. Faulty Delta Pressure sensor and pigtail.
3. Delta Pressure sensor needs cleaning.

4. Ports in the venturi pipe needs cleaning.
5. Faulty MCM.
6. Damaged Intake Manifold Pressure sensor electrical connector.
7. Faulty Intake Manifold Temperature sensor electrical connector.
8. EGR system needs cleaning.
9. Faulty Delta p sensor.
