Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 4765
FMI: 4
Description: DOCIT signal Out of Range LOW
Troubleshooting:
The Diesel Oxidation Catalyst Inlet Temperature (DOCIT) sensor measures the temperature
between the Pre-Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (Pre-DOC) and the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst
(DOC). The Electronic Control Module (ECM) uses the DOCIT sensor as well as the Diesel
Oxidation Catalyst Outlet Temperature (DOCOT), Diesel Particulate Filter Outlet Temperature
(DPFOT), and Diesel Particulate Filter Differential Pressure (DPFDP) sensors to monitor the
operation of the regeneration cycles of the Aftertreatment system.
Probable causes:
1) DOCIT signal circuit short to GND
2) Failed DPFOT sensor
Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 4765
FMI: 7
Description: DOCIT not increasing with engine temp

Probable causes:
Biased DPFOT sensor or circuit

Probable causes:
1) Alternate fuel source
2) Unburned hydrocarbons in exhaust system

Probable causes:
1) DOCIT sensor not connected to exhaust system
2) Exhaust system not attached to the engine
3) High resistance connections to DOCIT sensor
