Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 51
FMI: 4

Description: ETP signal Out of Range LOW
Troubleshooting:
The Engine Throttle Valve (ETV) regulates how much air enters the engine. The valve opens
and closes to allow for more or less air intake as engine conditions require.
Probable causes:
1) Failed ETP
2) ETP Reference Voltage (VREF) open circuit
3) Signal circuit short to GND
4) Signal open
5) Disconnected connector

PID: N/A
SPN: 51
FMI: 5

Description: ETP open load / circuit
Troubleshooting:
The Engine Throttle Valve (ETV) regulates how much air enters the engine. The valve opens
and closes to allow for more or less air intake as engine conditions require.
Probable causes:
1) Open circuit for intake throttle position power
2) Open circuit for intake throttle position ground
3) Open intake throttle circuit

Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 51
FMI: 7

Description: ETP does not agree with commanded position
Troubleshooting:
The Engine Throttle Valve (ETV) regulates how much air enters the engine. The valve opens
and closes to allow for more or less air intake as engine conditions require.
Probable causes:
1) Sticking or failed ETV

Make: International
Engine: MaxxForce DT (2010 & Newer)
PID: N/A
SPN: 51
FMI: 11

Description: ETP operation fault- underVolt, overAmp, overTemp/ ETP H-bridge Electrical
Check
