Troubleshooting:
DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the Motor Control Module (MCM) detects that Cylinder #3 has low
rpm speed with the injector commanded to maximum fueling with all conditions met.
MONITORED PARAMETER:
1. Engine rpm.
2. Engine speed between 1100 rpm to 1400 rpm.
3. Actual torque load 40 to 80%.
4. Actual torque greater than 800 N·m (560 lb·ft) for DD13/DD15.
5. Actual torque greater than 1000 N·m (738 lb·ft) (between 1100 to 1300 rpm) or 1330 N·m
(981 lb·ft) (between 1300 to 1400 rpm) for DD16.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
1. No fuel system faults.
2. No circuit faults.
3. No air system faults.
4. Engine coolant temperature greater than 65°C (149°F).
5. Engine fuel temperature greater than 0°C (32°F).
