Description: ACM PT-CAN DM1 Message Not Received or has Stopped Arriving
Troubleshooting:
DESCRIPTION:
This fault code sets when the Common Powertrain Controller (CPC) stops receiving messages
from the Aftertreatment Control Module (ACM).
MONITORED PARAMETER:
ACM Controller Area Network (CAN) communication.
TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS:
Always enabled
MONITOR SEQUENCE:
None
EXECUTION FREQUENCEY:
Always enabled
TYPCIAL DURATION:
Two seconds
DASH LAMPS:
1. MIL is solid.
2. CEL and AWL flash.
ENGINE REACTION:
30 seconds shutdown
VERIFICATION:
Turn the ignition OFF, wait five minutes, then turn the ignition ON.
POSSIBLE CAUSES:
1. Over/under voltage supply to the module.
2. Fault set during a reprogram event.
3. Loss of ground to the ACM.
4. Loss of power to the ACM.
5. Loss of ignition switch power to the ACM.
6. Open in the CAN communication circuits.
